Software. Information Technology: Its new meaning for art.

New York: The Jewish Museum, 1970.
Folio, 72 pages. First edition of this catalogue of an exhibition about the influence of computers on art.  With an introduction, Notes on Art and Information Processing," by Jack Burnham. Artists include Vito Acconci, John Baldessari, Donald Burgy, Hans Haacke, Allan Kaprow, Joseph Kosuth, Lawrence Weiner, and Les Levine, among others. The exhibit's major sponsor was American Motors Corporation and it's interesting to see how many of the other sponsors and lenders to the exhibit are no more, including many leading innovators in the computer world at the time, such as DEC. A fine copy in publisher's printed wrappers.
